In 1953, a group of forward thinking business leaders in Chippewa Falls initiated the creation of the Chippewa Falls Industrial Development Corporation in an effort to fulfill the mission of providing leadership in Chippewa Falls for the promotion, expansion and diversification of the industrial base. Although much has changed over the past fifty years, the business community’s commitment to promoting industrial and economic growth in Chippewa Falls has remained the same.
The Corporation is managed by a Board of Directors comprised of community-minded business and industry leaders and supported by the City of Chippewa Falls Planning staff.
