The Chippewa Valley has benefited from a number of transportation infrastructure improvements in the last few years. The addition of the East Bridge Corridor means that all three business parks in Chippewa Falls are serviced by a four lane highway.  Additional improvements to HWY 29 and HWY 53 ensure that Chippewa Falls will be accessible by a four lane highway in every direction by 2003.

The City of Chippewa Falls and the IDC have also worked closely with the Chippewa Valley Airport to improve the number and range of flights coming into our airport.
